LEASING TERMS

  1. Weather Conditions & Schedule Changes
  • Safe Sailing Limit (Above 5 Beaufort): In the event of winds exceeding 5
Beaufort, “Pleiades RIB Cruises” reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decide
whether to proceed with the cruise.
  • Alternatives: The leasing/cruise and/or departure time are subject to change by
“Pleiades RIB Cruises” at any time in the event of unforeseen weather changes or any
other event beyond the captain’s reasonable control. “Pleiades RIB Cruises” will
decide whether the charter/cruise will take place on a completely new route or
whether the leasing/cruise will be rescheduled for a new date in consultation with the
    customer.
In the event that the cruise route must be changed during the cruise—for example, as
a result of unforeseen weather conditions that make an area too dangerous for
navigation— the Captain, in consultation with the Customer, may agree on a new
destination. The final decision regarding any change to the itinerary or destination
during the cruise, due to the above circumstances and to ensure the safe navigation of
the vessel, rests with the Captain.
  • Price Differences: If the new/alternative route has a different cost than the original
one, the price difference is either covered by the customer (if it is more expensive) or
refunded to the customer (if it is less expensive).
  1. Payment Terms – Pricing Policy – Fuel
  • Reservations: To make a reservation, a deposit of 30% of the charter/cruise price is
required, and the remaining 70% is due one day before the scheduled cruise. Please
send the payment receipt along with your personal information via email.
  • Last-Minute Reservations: For reservations made two (2) days or fewer before the
cruise, full payment is required immediately upon check-in.
  • Fuel Policy: For 4-hour and 8-hour cruises, the cost of fuel is not included in the
initial booking price. It is calculated based on actual consumption during the trip and
paid as an extra charge upon return to the port. If, for any reason, including force
majeure, the customer checks out at a port or marina other than the one agreed upon,
they are required to pay the fuel costs for returning the boat to its home port.
  1. Amenities, Alcohol, and Use of Equipment
  • Alcohol & Food Consumption: Consumption of alcohol beyond what is provided
by us is prohibited. Consumption is limited exclusively to the premium snacks and
    beverages offered on board.
  • Water Sports & Equipment: The use of water sports equipment (e.g., SUP [Stand-
Up Paddleboard], AQUA SCOOTER) and all equipment used off the boat is at the
customer’s sole responsibility. The company bears no liability for any accidents.
  • Customer/Passenger Personal Belongings—Damage to “Pleiades RIB Cruises”
Equipment : The personal belongings and electronic devices (cell phones,
smartwatches, etc.) of the Customer/Passengers remain under their sole control, and
they are solely responsible for their safekeeping and safe transport. “Pleiades RIB
Cruises” bears no liability for compensation for loss or any damage resulting from
slight or gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the
    Customer/Passenger.
The Customer is also liable for any damage, wear and tear, or loss to “Pleiades RIB
Cruises” equipment, specifically the RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) itself, the SUP
(Stand-Up Paddleboard), the AQUA SCOOTER (water/underwater scooter), GoPro
cameras, and WiFi devices (all owned by “Pleiades RIB Cruises”), caused by their
own gross or slight negligence or intent.
  1. Safety, Minors, and the Skipper’s Authority
  • Skipper’s Authority: The Skipper is responsible for the safety of the passengers,
their compliance with all rules and instructions for safe navigation, and the safety of
    the vessel.
  • The Customer must comply with safety requirements, the Skipper’s instructions, and
all applicable laws and regulations during the charter/cruise.
  • Fishing and underwater activities are prohibited without a valid license, where
    required.
  • The Skipper has the absolute authority to refuse boarding or to terminate the
charter/cruise early and without any compensation, if any passenger is intoxicated or
if their behavior endangers safety, violates any of these Terms, or involves any illegal
activity under applicable laws and regulations during the charter/cruise.
  • If the Customer commits any offense that violates laws and regulations, and such
offense results in the Captain’s arrest, the imposition of a fine, or imprisonment, as

well as the seizure, seizure, or the imposition of a fine on the vessel, then the
Customer is obligated to compensate the Captain and “Pleiades RIB Cruises” for the
expenses incurred, the damages suffered, and the business’s lost profits resulting
therefrom.

  • The Customer must carry valid identification documents with them throughout the
charter/cruise. All passenger names listed on the reservation must match the names on
their respective identification documents. Failure to comply with this rule may result
in cancellation of the reservation. Furthermore, in the event of an unjustified delay in
notifying the Company of any apparent inaccuracies in the confirmed arrangements,
the Customer is solely responsible for any delays in departure.
  • Minors: If minors are participating in the cruise, their parents or legal guardians
bear full and sole responsibility for their safety, behavior, and entertainment during
the cruise. Customers who have children or are traveling with children must notify
“Pleiades RIB Cruises” prior to departure (check-in) so that the company can provide
all necessary safety equipment for the children. In addition, the Captain will inform
parents or legal guardians of all safety procedures on board; however, the parents or
legal guardians of the traveling children assume responsibility for the behavior and
safety of all children in their care during the charter/cruise
  • Passenger Health: The customer represents and warrants that the medical condition
of all Guests is suitable for the charter/cruise, in relation to the reservation that has
been made. The nature of recreational boat charters may make them unsuitable for
individuals with physical disabilities or those undergoing medical treatment. The
customer is required to disclose, prior to departure (check-in), any existing condition
or medical issue that could potentially jeopardize their safe travel. A customer facing
a health issue (e.g., back/spinal problems, pregnancy), grants “Pleiades RIB Cruises”
the right to refuse boarding; however, if the customer insists on boarding, their safety
regarding the health issue they are facing is their sole responsibility, and “Pleiades
RIB Cruises” bears absolutely no liability for any possible worsening of their
    condition.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • If the customer fails to show up for the scheduled trip and does not notify “Pleiades
RIB Cruises,” the company reserves the right to refuse a refund.
  • If the boat rental/cruise fee is paid in full by credit or debit card and the
customer cancels the trip for any reason , 100% of the charter fee if the cancellation
is made 6 days or more before the scheduled departure date and time of the
    leasing/cruise.
  • If the boat/cruise rental fee is paid in full by credit or debit card and the
customer cancels the charter for any reason , 70% of the charter fee will be
refunded if the cancellation is made between 5 days and 1 day prior to the scheduled
departure date and time of the leasing/cruise.
  • If the boat/cruise rental fee is paid via Cash on Delivery (COD) and the customer
cancels the leasing for any reason, the entire deposit (30%) and 70% of the leasing
fee will be refunded if the cancellation is made up to 7 days before the scheduled
departure date and time of the leasing/cruise.
